Recreation Management Strategy Steering and Advisory Groups

The Recreation Management Strategy Steering and Advisory Groups are tasked with taking forward recreation management across the National Park.

The Steering Group comprises representatives from Hampshire County Council, New Forest District Council, the Verderers, Natural England, Forestry England and the National Park Authority. The Advisory Group has representatives from these and a further 11 local organisations.

The work is guided by the New Forest National Park Recreation Management Strategy, agreed in 2010, and relevant recreation policies and plans of the constituent organisations.
