Our Land
Our Land is a new and exciting project aimed at developing truly sustainable tourism in the New Forest National Park and eight other protected landscapes in the South East.
Backed by nearly £1M of Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) funding, Our Land is a an opportunity for the most sustainable of tourism business to market themselves to London and the South East and provide an opportunity for people to reconnect with the protected landscapes on their doorstep. Our Land aims to convert existing day visitors to staying visitors and to provide and develop experiences for visitors which are linked to the special qualities of each landscape.
Our Land has sustainability at its core. Whether it’s accessing a protected landscape by public transport, sampling local produce or staying in the most energy efficient accommodation, Our Land has something for everyone.
