Sway Deli & Coffee shop opened in July of 2010 and is less than 5 minutes walk from the station, Rushcroft Farm camp site and Setthorns campsite (open all year round).

Sway is in the heart of the New Forest with good walking and cycling on its doorstep.

Sway Deli serves breakfasts (all day) light lunches - soups, quiches with salad or vegetables and most days, a dish of the day as well as a roast on Sundays. This is in addition to its home made cakes and sausage rolls, croissants and, possibly, the best coffee for miles - and organic Clipper teas with home made scones - and for homesick Australians, homemade lamingtons!

Basics, such as bread and milk are sold in the Deli section. There is an array of local, French, Italian, Greek and English cheeses, locally smoked pates, soft drinks, hams, cured meats and trout, chutneys and jams, sauces and Isle Of Wight garlic. We have cottage cheese for those conscious of calories; gluteen free cakes and pasta for the gluten intolerant; soy milk, skinny milk and bicycle racks for the cyclists - and much more!

We are in Middle Road, Sway, opposite the renowned Sway Butcher. In the summer we open our folding doors to the sun and air to enable our customers soak up the warmth from the south east aspect of our outdoor patio.

Opening hours

  • 9.00am to 5.00pm Tuesdays to Saturdays in winter;
  • 8.00am to 5.00pm in summer
  • 10.00am to 4.00pm summer and winter, on Sundays (except Christmas day and New Year's day).

Tel: 01590 683392 - we have WiFi., and a wheelchair access toilet.

We look forward to welcoming you and helping you to enjoy your stay in the forest! Ken and Gillian Wilson.
