Lawful Development Certificates (existing) Panel

The Planning Development Control Committee has appointed the LDCE Panel to consider Lawful Development Certificates (Existing) applications in those cases where:

  • (i) a Member is not content to leave the final decision to the Authority's Senior Solicitor and/or
  • (ii) the Authority's Senior Solicitor is minded to determine the application contrary to evidence submitted by the Parish or Town Council.

Membership of the Panel comprises the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Planning Development Control Committee, together with three other Members of the Committee to reflect the overall balance of the Authority (i.e. two Local Authority appointees and one Secretary of State appointee).
