Landford Village Design Statement

Supplementary Planning Document

The Village Design Statement (VDS) has been prepared by a steering group of residents in Landford to provide design guidance for the Parish (both within and outside of the New Forest National Park), and has been informed by consultation with local people.

The New Forest National Park Authority at its meeting on 24 March 2011 adopted the Landford Village Design Statement as Supplementary Planning Document for the part of Landford Parish which lies within the National Park. It now forms part of the Local Development Framework for the National Park. Local Development Frameworks form the basis for decisions on land-use planning

The remaining part of Landford lies within Wiltshire. As planning authority for the area Wiltshire Council, proposes to adopt the Landford VDS as Supplementary Planning document for this part of Landford.
