Herb UK win first ever National Park Green Award

Herb UK Ltd was the winner of the night at the New Forest Brilliance in Business Awards yesterday, not only scooping the overall prize but also the first ever Green Leaf Sustainability Award, sponsored by the New Forest National Park Authority.

The Authority was impressed with Herb UK’s outstanding approach to environmental practices; such as the introduction of water saving devices, switch-off policies, installation of energy efficient light bulbs and strict recycling policies.

Barrie Foley, Interim Chief Executive of the New Forest National Park Authority, said: ‘Herb UK is a brilliant example of how a business can integrate a caring and long-term approach to the environment, alongside the economic and the social benefits that a sustainable business can bring to the New Forest.’
