Start the festive season in style with a weekend of seasonal shopping, local food and family fun at the New Forest Christmas Fair.

Now in its fourth year, the annual fair will take place at New Park, Brockenhurst on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, 2015. Gates are open between 10am and 4pm, with free entry and parking.

With locally produced seasonal gifts, hot tasty food, mulled wine, a brass band, and an appearance from Father Christmas, the fair is perfect for getting into the festive spirit. Visitors can also buy their real Christmas tree from the Forestry Commission on site.

Many of the traders are members of the New Forest Marque - a scheme set up to support local farmers and producer, which is the true sign of authentic New Forest Produce. The Marque is supported by the New Forest National Park Authority.

Jane Overall, Chairman of the New Forest Marque, said: ‘This event has attracted over 10,000 people in the past, and this year it will be bigger and better than ever. We have over 100 trade stalls booked, as well as plenty of attractions for people to enjoy while they shop.

‘There will be crafty activities for the children to get creative, Longdown Farm will visit us on Sunday, youngsters can win prizes for their mince pies and tree decorations, and there will be a dog show on both days.’

The New Forest Christmas Fair is supported by the New Forest Show Society, New Forest National Park Authority and Wave 105.
