Be rewarded for your brilliant business

Businesses in the New Forest have the opportunity to be recognised for their outstanding achievement in the ninth annual Brilliance in Business Awards.

The 2014/15 awards, organised by the New Forest Business Partnership (NFBP) and supported by the New Forest National Park Authority, will be presented on 26 November at Careys Manor Hotel, Brockenhurst.

Awards will be made in seven categories, focusing on specialist areas including entrepreneurship, innovation and green policies. One business selected from the winners of the individual categories will be named NFBP Business of the Year.

The awards include a category for sustainable business, supported by the New Forest National Park Authority, which rewards companies that are making an outstanding effort to reduce their environmental impact on the area.

New Forest Business Partnership Chairman Rob Dewing said: 'I always look forward to this time of year when we can recognise and celebrate the success of our local businesses. The standard of entries continues to impress the judges year on year and I'd like to encourage all local businesses to put themselves forward for an award.'

Businesses can submit their entries online at Individuals can also nominate a company for an individual category. Entries will be accepted until 12pm on 31 October.

Award categories are:

  • The ExxonMobil Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  • The New Forest Enterprise Centre Award for Best New Business
  • The Hampshire County Council Young Entrepreneur Award
  • The Brockenhurst College Award for Training and Development
  • The New Forest National Park Authority Sustainable Business Award
  • The New Forest District Council Award for Outstanding Customer Care
  • The Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Brand New Forest Campaign
