The New Forest National Park Authority’s Seasonal Snaps photo competition is back, inviting people to submit their spring photos of the Forest on Facebook or Twitter for a chance to win great prizes.

The spring edition of Seasonal Snaps runs from 26 March to 9 April 2014 and is open to all, with entries welcomed from anyone from professional photographers to smartphone-wielding amateurs. The winners will be chosen by a public vote on the National Park Authority’s Facebook page, which will be open until 9 April.

The winners will be announced on 10 April and they will each have their entry displayed on the Authority’s website as well as winning one of several incredible prizes, kindly donated by local businesses:

Barry Rickman, New Forest National Park Authority member, said: ‘This competition is seeking to harness the power of social media to encourage people to celebrate the beauty of the New Forest and encourage others to protect and cherish the area.

‘I wish all the entrants the best of luck and I hope they enjoy photographing the unique landscape of the National Park.’
