Go ‘green’ at the first ever ‘Greener Living Show’

Published Wednesday 14 April 2010

Make sure you put Sunday 25 April in your diary to visit the first ever free New Forest ‘Greener Living Show’ at Brockenhurst College.

The packed show will be running from 9:30am - 4:30pm and will have something on offer for everyone. It will be full of activities and information on fun ways you and your family can help the environment.

There will be over 40 stalls including Lush, Sustrans, New Forest Friends of the Earth and the Energy Saving Trust, offering advice, practical solutions, give-a-ways, eco products, local produce and much, much more.

Amy Rawlins, Climate Change Officer at the New Forest National Park Authority, said: ‘The Authority wanted to create an event that brought all the work people are doing to help the environment in and around the New Forest together for the first time. With the support of New Forest Transition and Brand New Forest we have done just that.

‘We are inviting everyone to come along whether they are actively involved in helping the environment or just curious to find out more.’
