What you can do

We can all help prevent climate change getting any worse and lessen the impacts of the now unavoidable changes.

Small changes in our everyday lives, homes and means of transport add up to big differences in greenhouse gas emissions and often save money as well.

Turning down your heating by just one degree will save around 300kg CO2 year. If just 11 people in the National Park do this we will have compensated for one return flight to Miami!

Traditional light bulbs convert only 10% of the electricity you pay for into light, the rest is converted into heat – so it makes sense to buy energy-efficient lightbulbs.
