Paper bags for the New Forest National Park

The New Forest National Park Authority has supplied a local paper bag distribution company with paper bags which celebrate the things that make the National Park special – and highlight ways in which people can help. The bags are brown with green printing, made from recycled paper and strung in batches of 100. We hope many local businesses and sales outlets will use these bags instead of plain or more generic designs and thereby help protect the New Forest for the future.

The different sizes are:

• 5” x 7” bags which celebrate all the Forest’s commoning animals and the need to drive carefully;
• 9” x 7” bags which highlight the rich grazing there is for New Forest ponies and the importance of not feeding them human food;
• 8.5” x 11” bags which highlight the rare birds which nest on the ground and the need to keep to tracks during the breeding season.

Because the Authority has subsidised the cost of printing the bags, they are available for the same cost as other designs.
