St Barbe Museum offers a service tailored to the need of its users. Using objects and images from the museum’s collection, education sessions include Old and New, Victorian Childhood, Seaside Holidays in the Past, Britain Since the 1930s, Victorians, Lymington Old and New, Smugglers of the Solent, The Coastal Environment: taught sessions for all ages from KS2 led by a ranger explain the ecology, function and change over time of the New Forest coast. Sessions for pre school and nursery art related to its prestigious exhibitions programme.
