Our extensive and varied education and outreach programme seeks to engage and enthuse people with the past and their maritime  environment through activities and events on a maritime archaeology theme.

Over the past 16 years, HWTMA have gained considerable experience in  creating and delivering an innovative range of initiatives for children,  families and adult learners. These include ‘archaeologist for
an hour/day’ sessions, after-school clubs, ‘try-dive and shipwrecks’ sessions, coracle building, ‘seashore safaris’ and many more. Sessions can be delivered in schools, community centres, discovery centres, on the coast and outdoors. Sessions can be explicitly related to the National Curriculum or just for fun. Please call to discuss your requirements.
