Project Assistant – Records Management
In preparation for the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force in May, we have an opportunity for a Project Assistant to help meet the Authority’s obligations under the new legislation.
We are looking for an efficient and well-organised individual to provide the team with assistance in undertaking an information audit, reviewing current records management practices, implementing a corporate file plan and rolling out new systems (Office 365 and SharePoint).
You will play an important part in helping the team deliver its objectives and provide the highest standards of customer service within a busy and enjoyable working environment. You will:
- Have strong IT skills with experience of working with Microsoft programmes
- Possess excellent communication and customer care skills
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be a positive team player.
Fixed-term for six months, 22.5 hours per week (flexible).
