Community projects

Mushrooms grow on the woodland floor

One of the roles of the ranger team is to help develop local community projects that conserve or enhance the National Park and improve access to it. Examples of such projects are described below.

If you know of a situation where you think one of the rangers could help, do please contact us.

Remember that the National Park Authority doesn’t directly own or manage any land so you’ll need the permission and backing of the land owner and support from local people.

Read on to find out about some of the projects we have already completed with National Park communities.
