The Centre features attractive gallery displays in the New Forest Museum including a Family Fun Tree. Find out more about the iconic New Forest Pony and how human intervention has helped shape this unique landscape over hundreds of years.
The New Forest Gallery offers an ever-changing programme of exhibitions including the work of local artists and there’s an extensive reference library for visitors wanting to know more about the natural and social history of this area.
The New Forest National Park Authority has, in partnership with the New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust (the building’s owners) created a visitor experience that truly reflects this unique and special landscape. Free admission to under 16s, an all year round programme of events and activities, a well-stocked gift shop and the Visitor Information Centre all go to make this a one-stop-shop in the New Forest National Park and a must for all visitors.
