The tree service for the New Forest National Park and New Forest District Council areas is provided by the National Park Authority from our offices at Lymington Town Hall.

We are responsible for implementing National Park purposes and District Council obligations for trees using the legal controls imposed through Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and Conservation Area and Hedgerow Regulations.

All matters relating to trees on District Council owned or managed land remain the responsibility of the District Council Corporate Tree Manager.  Please refer to the New Forest District Council website for further information.

In this section of our website you will find our policies and guidance on trees as well as current tree work applications and information on Tree Preservation Orders.
