A date with nature in the New Forest
Over 22,000 people had a date with New Forest wildlife in 2009, and many more followed the story of the Goshawk and Hobby on-line.
Visitors also found out about the remarkable ground nesting birds of the National Park.
The experience has ended for 2009 but for more information on ground nesting birds and how you can help you can download our leaflet or listen to their bird calls on our website.

News alert! A date with nature will return in 2010! Please see this page for updates or follow us on Twitter.
A date with nature in the New Forest (previously called Aren’t birds brilliant!) is a partnership project between the National Park Authority, the RSPB, the Forestry Commission and Carnyx Wild. The project started in 2007 helped by a grant from the Authority's Sustainable Development Fund.
