Minerals and Waste
The New Forest National Park Authority is the minerals and waste planning authority for the National Park.
The Authority is working with Hampshire County Council, Southampton and Portsmouth City Councils to produce a number of joint documents as part of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework. This includes the following development plan documents:
The Core Strategy sets out the vision, objectives and spatial development strategy for the planning and management of minerals and waste developments for Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the whole of the New Forest National Park until 2020. It incorporates minerals and waste development control policies.
