Local Development Framework
Evidence Base
Planning guidance advises that the Local Development Framework should be based on an up-to-date information base on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of the area.
In preparing the National Park Plan a wide range of research has been prepared and commissioned by the National Park Authority, some in conjunction with other local authorities and organisations such as New Forest District Council. In addition a number of topic papers set out more detailed background information on the issues and guidance relating to a range of topics, which supplement the policies in the Park Plan.
