Planning statement

Circumstances when this document should be submitted

Required to accompany the following applications:

1  proposals for new agricultural dwellings

2 proposals to remove agricultural occupancy conditions

3  proposals to extend residential properties/replace existing dwellings in cases where planning policy seeks to limit additional floorspace.

In all cases, the planning statement should identify the context and need for the proposed development and include an assessment of how the proposed development would accord with the relevant national, regional and local planning policies.

For (1) and (2) - PPS7 (Annex A) and New Forest District Council Policies NF-H6 and H7 and Salisbury District Council Policies H27, H28 and H29.

For (3) New Forest District Council Policies NF-H3 and NF-H4 and Salisbury District Council Policy HA4.
