At the New Forest Show in 2006 the New Forest National Park Authority stand won the award for ‘best large stand’ with its theme of ‘sounds of the Forest’. As part of the fun, on-the-spot radio reporters recorded the thoughts of visitors to the stand about what makes the New Forest special to them.
