Animals are featured throughout: from the familiar story of Noah’s Ark to a series of short and beguiling nonsense poems featuring an eclectic mix of creatures.

RCS’s Musical Director, Jamie W. Hall was commissioned to set three of the poems to music and his collection Curiouser and Curiouser! introduces the listener to the behaviour of a small crocodile, a dance for lobsters and the song of the mock turtle.

Animal Crackers is six short musical snatches of hilarious animal antics written by the rising American star composer Eric Whitacre.
