A multimedia exhibition of art and science profiling the results of recent research into the ecology of the New Forest and the potential impacts of climate change.

Holiday Adventure Day

Cost: £40 per child

Not sure how to entertain the kids this upcoming Easter holiday? Treat them to a day full of activities with us!


Let your child learn new skills, meet new friends and have fun in the New Forest with our Holiday Adventure Day.

Starting at 9am, the day will kick off with a fantastic bushcraft session - this will involve learning how to shelter build and it will also include some foraging skills. Throughout the day they will also get involved in some target archery, testing their aim with a bow. Then to end the day, they will get to participate in some high or low ropes (depending on age).

There will be two groups 8-12 year-olds and 12-14 year-olds.

GIPSY MOTH IV OPEN DAYS: On Good Friday and Easter Monday, climb aboard Gipsy Moth IV, the yacht in which Sir Francis Chichester became the first sailor to single-handedly circumnavigate the globe.

Wild Days Out – Wet ‘n’ Wild! (5-8’s)

Discover the weird and wonderful denizens of the deep on a pond and river exploration… catch fish, play in the river and get WET!

Wild Wednesday

Enjoy a date with nature at the Reptile Centre, with fun activities for the whole family. Quiz trail and ‘making’ activities for children.

Come and see the ‘live’ video of birds on their nests as well as the reptiles and amphibians.
