A multimedia exhibition of art and science profiling the results of recent research into the ecology of the New Forest and the potential impacts of climate change.

Family Bushcraft Day Spend a day in the woods with your family getting back to basics and appreciating nature in beautiful surroundings.

Family Bushcraft Day Spend a day in the woods with your family getting back to basics and appreciating nature in beautiful surroundings.

This course is designed to help children to become interested in the local countryside, to take ownership of it, whilst bonding parent to child in a unique outdoor challenge and activity day.

The day will consist of a fire lighting session with marshmallows and popcorn on hand, walking the tightrope of doom, group den building, camp craft work using green wood and sensory games.

Please wear old clothes and bring waterproofs and a packed lunch. The woods may be muddy at this time of year. Children over six must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Kids Clay Time- Easter Holiday Pottery Classes

Experience hands on creativity and learn together at these pottery workshops for families this Easter.

Experience hands on creativity at these pottery workshops for families! Come and learn together and make your own ceramic works of art.

WHEN & WHERE? Tuesday 11th - 2:30pm Thursday 13th - 10:30am and 2:30pm Saturday 15th - 2:30pm Tuesday 18th - 2:30pm

HOW MUCH?: £18 per child over 4 years, (one accompanying adult goes free) over 10's are welcome to work on their own. Includes all materials and two kiln firings. 

After a short demo of clay modelling techniques it's over to you to get sculpting, squidging and shaping! Decorate your creations with coloured underglazes and leave the rest to us. We'll glaze and fire your work ready for collection 14-21 days later.

These fun, short classes are relaxed and suitable for all. About the artist: Imogen is a practicing ceramic and visual artist based in Dorset. She's an experienced arts facilitator offering creative workshops to adults, schools and diverse ability groups. With a BA in Applied Art & Design Imogen delivers a professional standard of class which is both educational and fun. Current DBS and PL insurance can be seen on request.
