A multimedia exhibition of art and science profiling the results of recent research into the ecology of the New Forest and the potential impacts of climate change.

Easter Fun at Hurst Castle

Date: 10 April 2017

Location: Hurst Castle, Keyhaven, Hampshire, SO41 0TP

Time: 10:30 - 5:30

Cost: Easter activities are free, but normal castle admission price applies

Family Easter Treasure Trail and Easter Crafts from Monday 10 April to Monday 17 April.

Claim your chocolate reward by unravelling the secret word in the treasure trail. This activity is for all the family to enjoy. There will also be a selection of Easter craft activities in the Tudor castle.

Then from Tuesday 17 April to Friday 21 April, our friends from the RSPB will be with us, giving children the chance to take part in a quiz to find the hidden birds around the castle.

Time: 10.30am to 5.30pm.

Ferry from Keyhaven at 10am and then every 20 minutes.

War and Wildlife: A Guided Walk

Date: 10 April 2017

Location: Meet at Frogham or use our transport option available from Salisbury City centre.

Time: 09:30 - 13:30

Cost: £25

Join a qualified Outdoor Leader and teacher to navigate through the National Park to discover some spectacular sites and learn about the New Forest National Park.

During the walk you will learn about the history of the National park and the role it played in the War effort. By discovering hidden gems buried in ancient woodland and under thick gorse you will gain a greater appreciation for this wonderful place.

See the incredible wildlife and free roaming ponies that now call this area, that was once used for bomb testing, their home.
