Peek into the wilder side of New Forest life.

Using the latest hi-tech gadgets we look right into the tree-top nests of the New Forest's wild birds of prey and watch their every move - from eggs hatching to food arriving and chicks leaving.

You can also learn about the reptiles and amphibians of the New Forest.

Staff and volunteers are on hand to answer all your questions about Forest life, and you can find out how you can do your bit to help wildlife in the New Forest, and at home.

Nfnpa arts fest 2017 for events

Exhibition: All Trees are Clocks by Professor Adrian Newton of Bournemouth University.

A multimedia exhibition of art and science profiling the results of recent research into the ecology of the New Forest and the potential impacts of climate change.

Dog Fun Day

Cost: Free, donations welcome

Come along with your canine friends for a day that's all about them.

Try the agility course and test out distraction alley.

There will be Rangers on-hand with plenty of help and advice about enjoying the New Forest with your dog. Bring a lead, plenty of water and poo bags!

GIPSY MOTH IV OPEN DAYS: On Good Friday and Easter Monday, climb aboard Gipsy Moth IV, the yacht in which Sir Francis Chichester became the first sailor to single-handedly circumnavigate the globe.

Nature Detectives

Become a nature detective this Easter with lots of fun themed activities - plus extra activities over the Easter Weekend!

  • Look out for Mr Nature Detective as he drives around the Beaulieu grounds in his Willys Jeep
  • Chat to the Victorian gardener and have a go at planting your own cress
  • Collect your own special Nature Detective trail bag to gather wildlife treasure on the Mill Pond Walk. Can you collect all the items?
  • Ride the Monorail for the best view of our tree-top griffin, carved from an oak tree
  • Go incognito! Come along for free nature-themed face painting
  • Get creative and snap a photo through our outdoor picture frame. Upload your pictures using #BeaulieuEaster to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for the chance to win a family annual pass to Beaulieu (see Ts&Cs on website)
  • Tiptoe down the Millpond Walk to spot the homes of the flower fairies.
