The New Forest National Park Authority and the New Forest Equine Forum would like your views on the consultation draft Guidelines for Horse-Related Development in the National Park. The draft guidelines are aimed at horse owners and land managers in the National Park and ensuring that horse related development conserves the special landscape of the New Forest
The draft guidelines have been approved for the purposes of public consultation by the National Park Authority and the New Forest Equine Forum – an independent group established in 2009 to represent equine interests within the New Forest.
Following consideration of all the comments made during the statutory public consultation period, the National Park Authority intends to adopt the guidelines as a Supplementary Planning Document. Once adopted the guidelines would form part of the Local Development Framework the National Park and be material in the consideration of planning applications within the National Park.
