Richard Frampton
My name is Richard Frampton a Ringwood Town Councillor; I am 47 years old, a father of 4 and a fourth generation inhabitant of Bransgore.
I was educated in Burley at Lucy Hill School until the age of eight. I went to St Peter’s School in Southbourne thereafter, where I was educated by the De La Salle order until 1979.
I live and work in the National Park, on my farm, where I have a touring caravan park and a pedigree Hereford herd and have strong ties to the Forest as my mother used to breed New Forest ponies.
I have represented the Bransgore ward on New Forest District Council, where I was placed on the planning committee amongst others, more recently I have served on the Bransgore Parish Council and currently on Ringwood Town Council.
I hold a vocational position on the board of the New Forest Agricultural Show Society in Brockenhurst which is a major showcase of rural life and an important social event for local people.
I am passionate about the Forest, its rural ways and the people who work in it as well as its natural beauty.
