Standards Committee membership
1. Membership
1.1 The committee shall comprise four members of the Authority, elected annually at the Annual Authority meeting, and two independent members.
1.2 The four members of the Authority on the committee shall include both a member appointed to the Authority by local authorities and a member appointed by the Secretary of State.
1.3 No business shall be transacted at a meeting of the committee unless the meeting satisfies the quorum requirements set out in Standing Order 6.
1.4 The current membership of the Committee is as follows:
1.5 There are also four deputy members of the Committee whose role is limited to deputising as required for Standards Committee members who are Authority members and who are unable to participate in the consideration and determination of a particular complaint against a member owing to a conflict of interest or for any other reason.
